My Approach

    Compassionate

I approach therapy from a strengths-based and compassionate perspective. I believe you have been doing the very best you can with the tools available to you, and my role is never to judge or criticize, but to recognize your strengths and help you see yourself through that same compassionate lens. Whether we’re working together for you or for your child, I will always meet you with empathy, respect, and encouragement. You are the expert on your own experience, and I see our work as a partnership: one where your insight combines with my training in evidence-based tools and strategies to create meaningful change.

    Collaborative

My job is to guide you, root for you, and think creatively about how to overcome obstacles so that you can move closer to the life you want to be living. Together, we’ll build resilience, develop new ways of responding to anxiety, and create space for greater calm, confidence, and fulfillment. I’ve seen countless clients make significant progress, and witnessing their growth fuels my passion for this work. I am deeply committed to helping you, or your child, achieve the same kind of meaningful change.

    Evidence-Based

I believe therapy should be rooted in approaches that are proven to work. That’s why I use evidence-based methods like CBT, ACT, and ERP, which decades of research show are highly effective for anxiety and OCD. I stay current on the latest research and continue learning so I can bring you the best tools available: approaches I’ve seen work time and again to create real, lasting change.
